What's included and what's not
- Candidates pay for their own slots and a share of the course staff's travel and lodging.
- Rating fees are paid directly to USPA when you finish.
- Tandem candidates pay for at least 20 slots and may owe DZ gear rental and manufacturer rating fees.
- AFF retakes within 6 months are free except slots. Pre-course fees still apply.
Deposits and cancellations
- A $100 deposit holds your spot.
- Fully refundable (minus transaction fees) up to 24 hours before the course. After that, deposits are non-refundable.
- You can also move your deposit to another course.
Discounts
- Return customers: 10-15%, depending on the course.
- Military discount.
- New dropzones: call for details.
Travel
- Candidates cover transportation, whichever is cheaper, flights and rental cars or gas.
- Hotels are shared among candidates or covered by the DZO. Lower-cost lodging is fine when reasonable.
- No per diem is charged.
