Using this site
By using xcelskydiving.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Courses and payments
- A $100 deposit holds your spot in a course. The balance is due on the first day of the course.
- Deposits are fully refundable, minus transaction fees, up to 24 hours before the course. After that, deposits are non-refundable. You can also move your deposit to another course.
- If an eXaminer can't make a course, we'll do our best to have another Xcel eXaminer cover it. If we can't, we'll move your deposit to another course or refund it.
- Course fees don't include jump tickets for you or your evaluators, gear rental or packing. Your share of eXaminer travel and lodging is calculated and given to you on the first day of the course.
- Store purchases and deposits are processed securely by Square. We never see or store your card details.
- Store items can be exchanged for a different size within two weeks of purchase. We don't offer refunds on store items.
Ratings are earned, not guaranteed
Instructional ratings are issued by USPA and, for tandem, by the equipment manufacturer. Completing a course does not guarantee a rating. You must meet every requirement and pass every evaluation.
Skydiving is dangerous
Skydiving carries a risk of serious injury or death. Information on this site is general and is not a substitute for proper training. Always follow the USPA Skydiver's Information Manual (SIM), the Instructional Rating Manual (IRM) and your equipment manufacturers' instructions.
Photos and video
We may use photos and video taken at our courses on our website and social media. If you'd rather not appear, just tell your eXaminer.
Calculators
The wingloading, repack and used-gear calculators give estimates only. Always confirm with your rigger or S&TA.

The text, photos, logos, course materials and calculators on this site belong to Xcelskydiving. Please don't copy or reuse them without our permission.

We link to USPA, manufacturers and other sites for your convenience. We aren't responsible for their content.
